Goldfinch Painters

The New Jersey Goldfinch Chapter

An Affiliated Member of

The Society of Decorative Painters

Since 1975

In 2013, The New Jersey Goldfinch Chapter will celebrate its 38th year as an affiliated member of the Society of Decorative Painters.

Established in 1975, our chapter offers members the opportunity to:

·         Broaden their knowledge of decorative   painting through classes and seminars

·         Build new friendships

·         Become involved in community service projects, and

·         Share their passion to paint with others

Each year, our chapter members donate their time and painting skills to many worthwhile causes. Some of our past service projects have included painting items to raise money for nursing homes, children shelters, foster homes,  veterinary care for animal shelters and our latest project painting quilt squares for the "Quilts of Valor" program.

Membership to the New Jersey Goldfinch Chapter offers the opportunity to meet with other painters at the local level. We actively encourage painters of all levels to join our chapter which requires the Society of Decorative Painters (SDP) membership. By becoming a member of the New Jersey Goldfinch Chapter, you will be involved in decorative painting right in your own community.

Members of the New Jersey Goldfinch Chapter meet once a month at the Mine Hill Community Center, 10 Baker St., Mine Hill, New Jersey. We meet on the second Tuesday of each month. Coffee and social time starts at 10 am. Our business meeting begins at 10:30 am. Painting Programs are held after the meeting. Visitors are always welcomed.
